About [Edit]
ACTION: Join local activists and Buddhist monks in a protest against the Chinese government's incessant support of the military junta.
The Burmese people have suffered long enough under the repressive, illegitimate military government. It's time for the global community to take a stand!
Come out and support the Burmese people!
Meet at the Chinese Consulate. Bring banners, signs, and WEAR RED to express solidarity with the courageous Burmese activists. Protesters will stage a Vipassana sit-in meditation in front of the Consulate.

I was here today! There were maybe a couple hundred people dressed in red. I saw the local ktvu press and others interviewing the crowd, and monks were meditating in the back. I wish I had brought my camera.
