WHAT:  1st Annual Portland, Oregon Riverfest

DESCRIPTION
:  Join the fun as Portland caps off the summer by celebrating the WillametteRiver. Riverfest offers a family-friendly chance to come to the river; take river tours; enjoy live music; learn first-hand about the river’s history, its environment, and its recent renaissance; clean-up the riverbank; and view river spectacles.

(City of Portland Bureau of Planning, Bureau of Developmental Services, Bureau of Environmental Services, City of Portland Office of Sustainable Development, Office of Transportation, Portland Parks and Recreation, and the Portland Water Bureau).  Various local sponsors.
