Bats Northwest volunteers present this free outdoor bat talk for all! We may take a very short walk to see bats fly around at dusk. Great education and entertainment whether you know little or a lot about these little flying mammals. All ages. Lots of time for questions, learning about bat sonar, bat houses, migration, hibernation, myths, realities, and lives of the 15 species of bats who live in Washington State. About 8 species have been recorded in Green Lake Park!

These public naturalist programs are held near the Bathhouse Theater on
the NW side of Green Lake. Meet on the grassy
knoll with a picnic table, just up from the paved Green Lake walking
path. See the Start Times listed above.
Since the program will begin before sunset and continue after dark, please dress for the weather on the evening of the bat talk. We look forward to seeing you at these events and to the opportunity to entertain you and educate you about bats.
