The Sustainable Living Roadshow (SLR) is a sophisticated and dynamic tour designed to educate, entertain, inspire and empower individuals and communities across the globe with information and tools necessary to live in more direct sustainable harmony with the earth. It represents a new paradigm of businesses, travel, education and entertainment.

The intention of the tour is to introduce communities to sustainable living strategies such as bio-regionalism, renewable energy, sustainable food systems, and community development while validating and promoting existing local efforts. Through pre-coordination, the tour orchestrates opportunities and creates participation that infuses these local ventures with new information and increased awareness at the surrounding campuses and communities. Collectively, workshops, entertainment and service projects empower youth and community members toward meaningful participation, both local and global. The events feature evening celebrations to broaden outreach, share messages and encourage participation from a diverse array of audiences.

Additionally, SLR is developing advance web 2.0 strategies to create social networks; large scale media distribution through downloadable videos, PODcasts, pictures and more; live web-feeds of events; and we are in communication with several networks to pick the SLR up as a national television series. Our strategy includes utilizing as many existing platforms of media distribution and social networking to make these ideas spread virally in existing communities.
