Developing Urban Ecovillages: Towards Ecocities

in the Chicago North Park Village Administration Building. (note: not in the Nature Center building)
Ecovillages support ways of living that enhance both community and sustainability. Their multiple forms range from intentional communities and cohousing, to friends and neighbors deciding to share more, to sustainable forms of building / business / traveling / eating and live-learn-work sustainably within the urban framework. Find out about current and future developments in major American cities and around the world. Friday’s overview by author, Diana Leafe Christian, is free. A $45 fee covers both the following days.
