About  [Edit]

Noted author, Frances Moore Lappe, will be one of the speakers at this public forum.  She will talk with the public and the Seattle City Council about a Local Food Action Initiative.  This proposed legislation would create a Seattle Food Action Plan, improve connections between farmers, hospitals, and schools, and support sustainable agriculture.

The event is in Seattle City Hall, at the Intersection of 4th Ave. and James Street downtown.

The City Council Chambers are on the second floor.  You can enter the building from either 4th or 5th Avenue.
