About  [Edit]

This multifaceted event is part of a 3 day set of events over the International Day of Peace Weekend, co-sponored by Group members Coalition for One Voice and One Spirit Interfaith Alliance, along with many others.  The event, beginning at 1 PM on Sept. 20 is part of three days of programs with interreligious pioneer Matthew Fox, including The Cosmic Mass on Sept. 19th.  These are all at Landmark on the Park, Fourth Universalist Church, Central Park West and 76th St., Manhattan.  There is also a book event at East West Books, 48 Fifth Avenue, Manhattan on Sept. 21st.  

 

The Sept. 20th Event is called World Shift to Peace and includes a keynote address by the same title by Matthew Fox followed by concurrent workshops and group and individual presentations across a number of spaces, times and rooms in the Landmark on the Park, from 1 PM to 5:30 PM.  These will include environmental themes as well as wellness, social justice, peace, world transformation and personal transformation etc.
