NB 150: Build an Earth Oven

Wood-fired,
retained-heat ovens have been used throughout the ages and around the world,
and are still prized by artisan bakers for making the finest bread and pizza.
Learn to build your own earth oven from clay, sand, straw and bricks. This
hands-on workshop will take you through the process from foundation to
completion. We'll discuss how to identify good building soil and how to heat
and bake in the oven efficiently.
