Adam, what you are suggesting is exactly how it should be, however Flash player (6 degree app) doesn't allow us to maintain state. This means if you navigate out of that page, when you come back you will find the 6 degree app showing the node it started with, not the one you were looking at.

We will continue investigating though.

it seems that it would serve the clicking and searching function better if a new window does Not open when selecting URL from the six degrees application. staying in the same window would allow backtracking and continuing search without cluttering the users desktop.

We need to show state along with city, at least in the US on the right side of search results so that when you click on Portland, you get either Portland, Oregon or Portland, Maine, but not both. Thanks!

Amazon Watch page: Nice work!!! I obviously have one or three comments!

- if you click on San Francisco (or any of the other geographical links from the General Info address section) it would be useful if there is some text telling you what you are looking at: e.g. in the Results line, such as: Results of all organisations in San Francisco 1 to 10 of 348.
- if you then decide to refine your search within San Francisco results, it would be useful to know that you are searching for Media orgs but still in SF. e.g. Results of Media Organisations in San Francisco 1 to 10 etc. etc.
- if you click on the Scope link straight from the view page it takes you to National orgs, but of all nations. Is there some way this link could take you to the National orgs of the country of the org you are looking at? The same thing happens when you click on org Type.
- the Source link is not displayed on the View page for orgs where the website is unknown. It would be useful to show the source, I think, but probably only where we don't know the website (or do we want to display it all the time?)
- I really like the Donate Now link, I was just wondering why the link from the bottom of the org view page takes you to JustGive and the Donate link on the right hand panel takes you to Care2? Do we want options of various donation sites, or should we be consistent?
- are the phone numbers coming straight from the data entry? If there is some formatting within the forms then there should be a space between the 1 and 800 in the tollfree number
- areas of focus: I like the descriptions!! Do we want the areas alphabetised (right now Environmental Justice is listed between Indigenous People and Indigenous Lands for the Amazon Watch entry)? Or do we want to show the main areas and alphabetise those, with the chosen areas listed alphabetically under that (e.g. like the internal database at the moment).
- If we are going to generate a Table of Contents box automatically, then it might look better with a little most spacing between the text and the box
- the History link at the top right of the page - could this be called 'Edit History'? (I clicked on it looking for history of the org)
- is the Email icon to email the org view page to someone? Would it be useful to have a scroll over message saying that?

the edit box remains in view and the preview gets updated sometimes outside the view. Not sure what would be the best solution though. Repositioning the window to the top of the preview area might disorient the user if the previewed content is too long. Just a message informing the user might work best?
