Great, Wendy, and thank YOU!
I've forwarded our correspondence to boatsie who just let me know that the "WiserEarth's application to tcktcktck has been accepted, which makes us one of the official orgs and news sources reporting on the talks, with access via mailing list to collaborations, news before it happens, stories, images, videos, etc"
So thank you very much indeed, Narda |

I agree, Wade,
And there is a short video clip of her personal account hopefully coming out soon. By being present in the moment she had a vision of a red rose which defused a potentially dangerous situation . Watch out for it |

I find this statement rather obscure, but it seems to embrace a dualistic, rather than a holistic, perspective. I believe that spirit is necessarily enfleshed and flesh is necessarily enspirited in a fundamental unity.
I don't see a "world of absoluteness on one side, the world of relativity on the other." Nor do is see "the perfection of mankind" on one side and "the relative expression" on another. This kind of dualism almost always results in the denigration of the material world, as in "I have mocked at them all. I am pure light." I do not appreciate being mocked. |

Some good points, but overall I find a lack of balance. Some concern
about "money and survival" is legitimate. "A relaxed sense of abundance
and prosperity" is hardly possible for the extremely poor, whose "true
needs" are NOT "being met perfectly all the time." Having resources to
make ends meet at a decent living standard may not be "necessary for
health or happiness," but it certainly helps and should be available to
everyone. And to seek an "egoless" social contract strikes me as
dangerously Utopian. We need to manage ego, but eradicating it totally
is not possible.

A solid statement, all in all, but I find the description of the problems we face lacking. Those problems are not only external, they are also internal, as with dehumanization, fragmentation, and social isolation.

A fine statement and a noble purpose. But I'm puzzled by "I hope we are not here to fix the world or put things right." I doubt that anyone expected to achieve that goal in one weekend, but I would assume that greater clarity about how to move in that direction would be helpful.

Thank you, Narda, for adding Rose's video and our page link to WE's page - let's talk soon about ways i can reportback, etc. I'm looking forward to a very full week there (not in the Bella Center, but everywhere else) and all the people, new perspectives and networks I will meet. best wishes, Wendy

As with all problems negatively effecting society and mankind, the grass root problem is the lacking of understanding of our human natures. The later, produces a distortion of values and priorities that complacently tolerates the abuses, which is the cause for earth's Climate Changes.
In as much as we can clearly see the catastrophic effect before us with regards to climatic changes; the lacking of understanding, as mentioned above, also demonstrates the lack of willingness on the part of the majority to aid the victims of their own habitual human abuses.
Take care, and thank you for allowing me to enter into your network.
