A free online community space where people working on an issue can come together. Each group is
offered a unique workspace where members can connect, post discussions, share resources and
collaborate on projects. WiserEarth groups are already in use by more than 1,000 ‘communities of action’.

Simple Set-up You can use one of three pre-defned templates or customize your own group layout.
Use your Gmail, Hotmail, AOL Mail, and Yahoo Mail accounts to invite people to your group.
Content Sharing You can easily share materials between groups making it easy to administer multiple groups which share similar aims.
Drag and drop customization Rearrange group layout and rename group modules on the fly.
Privacy options Set group to private (only group members can view and edit), semi-private (only group members can edit, anyone can view), or public (anyone can edit or view).
Choose between open (anyone can join), open to apply (a Group admin must approve), member referral, or invitation only.
Send a message to all, or some, of your group members.
Every change to a group is recorded in a history. You can easily revert to an earlier version of content with a few clicks. |
