"Solutions" Synergy
- add categories to Solutions
- Before adding new solution, make sure if there is no existing similar solution can be further developed
> Pop-up massage should re-direct the user to Solution list before starting editing
> Editors/Moderators my need to approve or manage category after submission - Each solution should contain an additional section " related solutions" toward building more solution based memeplexes

1./2. Show me the solutions about "rain water management" We have to imagine we have many hunderts of Solutions. No one will look into all of them. Table of content is not avoidable I am afraind. 3. We can start the enhancement with adding "other existing related solutions" to the template. |

1. Solutions can already be categorized with Areas of Focus and tagged with Keywords 2. Interesting idea. Do you think a filter like what we have in Add a resource page would be sufficient? 3. Interesting idea too. This would be part of the larger recommendation engine work and will take time to implement. Parts of it we can see in personal dashboard's "What's New in WE" module, and in group's "Suggested content" module. |
@Jafra: Some thoughts:
At the moment the number of Solutions is very small and it is unlikely that any two will overlap - so I don't think we need the check name right now - maybe in the future.
The job of Review Groups (we only have one real one at the moment 'Conservation Review') is to make sure that there isn't overlap - so its an editor type function. Solutions are approved by Review Groups or rejected if the Solution Owner submits it for Review. It is at that point that the tagging AOFs / Taxonomies can be checked.
Related Solutions can be added into wiki sections of Solutions and related in the Solution's network - so that feature already exists.
