WiserEarth gives you the community tools you need to connect, share your ideas and build your network.

Social networking: Here you'll be able to find many of the popular tools for connecting and communicating offered by social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Friendster. In addition you are in an ad-free, uncommercialized space and connected to thousands of people and groups working toward a more just and sustainable world.

Community-editable directories: We invite you to share your knowledge on the issues you care about or the work you are doing. You can do this by adding to or editing the content you see; organization listings, resource pages, solutions (best practices), event information, job postings, or WikiPages.

The people-knowledge connection: We make it easy for you to connect with information you care about. Have you found an organization you're interested in or a useful article? Click "Add to your network" on that page, so you can find it later on, and others can also see what you're interested in.

Sharing and reusing our knowledge: Once a piece of information is entered into WiserEarth, it is easy for all members of the WiserEarth community to access it.

Share knowledge with the world: We also make it easy for you to share almost every page you created in WiserEarth with the world wide web. There's also a Facebook application that enables you to share your WiserEarth activities with your friends on Facebook.
