Allow page sort by # of visits
Edit this Page
As suggested in this article, it would be cool to be able to sort pages, such
as all wikipages and most the items in the Explore menu, based on page visits (like "Unique Visits" and "Total Visits").

Just now I looked for the single Advanced Search homepage. I can't find it. If I click "Area of Focus" then "advanced search" I get an advanced search option just for Area of Focus. Thank you, Angus, for your tremendous and on-going commitment to improving WE!

Hear you about the Advanced search - lots of people saying they can't find it ....

I believe there already is a way to sort WE content based on most viewed. It's on the dashboard page.
I say the most effective improvement is make the advanced search of the WE database availble on EVERY page! Why not? If people don't have it obvious to them they have a very sophisticated search option, they don't use it. What a waste of all our good work. Add advanced search button to dashboard!

I never noticed that before. I did what you said, but it's kinda confusing for me. The resulting page reads "What's New on WiserEarth for Person sicjedi". I'm not sure what that means exactly. Anyway, I think that method is a bit obscure, so I'll let this suggestion stand.

You can already do that via the What's New on WE module in the dashboard. Click "Most Viewed" tab, and then click "See All". There's no # of visits on the list yet though.
