Submit a Solution for Review

Solutions can also be submitted to a review group for

evaluation and approval.  Any approved solution is given a large green check mark, which can help raise the visibility of the solution and generate more visits from the community.

To start the solution review process, first designate which review groups you would like to submit this solution to.  If you didn't do so during the solution creation process, you can go to the "Admin Tools" link on the far right, and click on "Edit Solution Settings".

Under "Review Groups", click the [Edit] link and choose the review groups you wish to submit this solution to.  Select the name of each group, and then use the arrow keys to move your selection over to the "Selected Groups". Then click on "Save" to finish.  Click on the "Main" tab to return to the front-page of your solution.

(Note:  If this is a private solution, make sure you also add the review group to the "Access Privileges" so that members of the review group will be able to see your solution.  If this is a public solution, you don't have to worry about this step.)

Once you have selected at least one review group, you can now click on "Submit for Review" in the action bar.  However, it is advised you first have a look in the Review Group to see what requirements they may have for approving solutions.

A pop-up dialog window will show up and ask you to check the review groups you wish to submit this solution to.  Check the groups you want, and then click on Save.

And that's it - now it's up to the group administrators to assign reviewers to your solution.  Once a solution has been approved, conditionally approved or denied, you will receive a message alert of its review status.
