Sharing our thoughts!

Exciting
[I am glad WE is hosting the Editors Meeting – it’s very exciting]
[I like the way the welcoming new members section is organized]

Role of Editors
[Do you think you would want to shoulder more responsibility around leading editors with certain roles? If yes, what is a good way to do so?]
[I am having a problem understanding my role as an editor of the water AoF, what should I be doing?]
[How can I help? When I go to the editors groups, I am unclear on what to do]
[How could editors find what is “live” on WiserEarth and showcase that to new users so they can more easily engage?]

Exit Strategy
[I have wanted to take action around inactive editors but don’t want to “hurt” their feelings. What is a good way to proceed with removing their editor’s status?]
[Editors' Roles: some type of measurement to follow up on commitment and what people do]

Recruitment
[How can we recruit more editors?]
[I think the bad economy provides a great opportunity to recruit new WE editors and members]
[Is the WE editors’ community/group something we need to actively recruit for, or does it have better results if we selectively invite? (Quality versus quantity)]

Editors’ Engagement
[I, sorry to say, would benefit from email reminders when key editors actions are required]
[How do we help editors engage on a frequent basis?]
[How do we have more editors involved in enforcement and content moderation?]
[Bowo’s listing of Editors’ priorities is definitely helpful]
[Should we condense the roles/titles of the editors to encompass more per role?]
[How do we inspire editors to work on mundane but important tasks like content monitoring?]

User Interface
[What is the best technology to activate the Editors' community? Is it Tech related? Facebook?]
[I feel like I could bring lot more people to WiserEarth if the support for low tech was there]
[Streamlining the UI]
[Movement from database to engaged community]
[Visibility of activity on WiserEarth]

Education/Training
[Educating editors about WiserEarth]
[How did the editors who successfully built groups/network sustain them?]

Localization of WiserEarth
[How do we think about editors in language others than English? Who manages them? Is there a separate group? Are the members part of all groups?]

Rewards
[How can we do a better job at rewarding Editors' work?]

Deep thoughts
[Where is the Editor’s group/community headed? What does success look like? How many editors will there be? What will be the motivation to continue?]
[Stepping back – Is the editors' group a fruitful avenue? What is the role of the Editors’ group?]
To get a customer → You evaluate → Convince them → Join in the conversation → Have fun
