Create the Solution

To create your solution, click on "Create a Solution" from the Explore tab on the top navigation bar.  Or, if you're in a group, look for your "Solutions" module, and click the "Create" link at the top.

 

1.  Fill out the general info section, making sure to use the "add" links to find the relevant authors, publishers and contact persons for the solution you're entering.  If you can't find a person or organization, consider using the "Add party wizard" to create a new placeholder record for the person or organization.

2.  Choose a logo for your solution by browsing through your computer and clicking on the upload button.  Be sure to remember to hit upload. The picture will refresh to show whatever picture has been uploaded.

You can upload/update the logo afterward via Admin Tools >> Edit Solution Settings link on the top right corner of your solution page.

3.  Set the access privileges for your solution to determine who can view and edit your solution.  We recommend you choose to restrict it to a specific group(s) by clicking "private", but you can open it up to the general public.  If you click on the "Only I can edit" box, you will have exclusive editing privileges, and other people can only view the solution.

4.  Choose between a "Limited" and a "Full" view for your content type.  The only difference is that the Full View has added text fields to enter in more information.  You can always switch between the two profile views at anytime.


Then click next to proceed to page 2.

Page 2 - Areas of Focus & Review Groups
 
1.  Select the Areas of Focus you wish to associate with the group.  Highlight the Area of Focus you want on the left side, and then click on the arrow buttons in the middle to move your selection over. 

You can also prioritize the selected Areas of Focus by using the up and down arrows on the far right.
2.  Select any review groups that you wish to associate with this solution.  Review groups are specially designated peer review committees that you can submit your solution to for evaluation and feedback. 

You can always add or remove review groups at a later point by going to the settings for the solution.

 


Click Finish to complete the solution creation process and to view your newly created solution!
