Is Wiser going to be translated into different languages?(heyguy)

1. I don't know I was wondering that as well? (kayschmuller)
2. The goal for WiserEarth is to be multi-lingual. The more interest there is to reach this stage, the faster the process can happen. (melinda)

FEASIBILITY OF SPIRITUAL CAPITALISM IN NEPAL

Being at the upper part of Bharatbarsha with Hindu domination; spiritual capitalism could be feasible economic strategy for Nepal. The appeal of spiritual capitalism is that it makes full use of the power of free market to create an efficient economy while at the same time incorporation into market behavior, the value of cultural and spiritual resources.

The base of spiritual capital includes both, derivatives of primary spiritual product as earth, sky, air, water, and heat and spiritual services along with purity of those derivatives. The key tenets of spiritual capitalism are spiritual environment creation, bringing them on market system, maintaining matter - man - mimicry (3m), sale of services rather than products and re-investment of profit in human and spiritual capital. Spiritual capitalism holds the promise of directing technology in ways that will create spiritual climate of Ganga watershed.

The beauty of spiritual capitalism is that when spiritual capital comes to be valued in market decision, the incentives of the marketplace will work toward preservation rather than destruction of spiritual assets (liabilities).

Himalayas, ice lakes, Ganges, Salgram, with place value of Buddha and Pashupatinath  could be our spiritual capital industries and spiritual climate around those industries could help to increase productivity of those industries. Nepal can maintain own different value on such industry and identity of Tibet could help to enhance the importance of this sector. People of India, NRI and NRN could be prime customer of this sector, which will help us to harvest cross boarder benefit.

Capitalization of sanskrit based spiritual speaker to motivate the people could be supportive on this ambitious vision. The poul's vision of Natural capitalism can be demonstrated by means of spiritual capitalism.

Site http://bandobasta.com.np and http://uttargaya.googlepages.com are our vision effort to mobilize the so called poor on participative conservation. My EMBA project report is based on natural as well as spiritual capitalism.

I am interested to share my experiences with poul and his followers. I will request all you to share your experiences with me and special request to poul to guide me on his path.

Regards

hello, just wanted to provide a link to a new organization related to american activist groups. it's a non-partisan movement to coerce congress to issue the call for america's first Article V Convention. since congress is controlled by corporate interests/monies, we need a national convention so delegates can propose what it never will. we need to retrieve The Vote from corporate interests, and we need to re-establish a Fairness Doctrine in the MSM. this is a non-partisan movement and it is not calling for a "constitutional convention" but rather a simple ceremony of open discussion amongst state delegates. please do take a look when you have a moment, and declare yourself Conventionist. http://www.foavc.org

if we are going to have a peaceable evolution here in the u.s.a. this is where it will have to start. feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

yes, that is very helpful and i think it is is a great idea. this is a tech addition that i will put in the queue. you can look at the tech tickets on the editor's page. at the moment you need to search for that page as a wikipage. we will make this page more prominent on the site once it becomes more established. thanks for the feedback.

Hey Adam

On the righthand side of the screen, WiserEarth provides me with icons that allow me to share information with friends using various mediums (email, yahoo, FURL, blinklist, etc) I've noticed on other sites that there is a similar feature allowing one to 'share a link' over Facebook that would notify my facebook friends of a particular page. I feel it would be a simple improvement, but one that would certainly help to share the marvels of this site with MY circle of friends (mostly university-aged).

Does this help??

Hi Nasher52. Not sure what you mean exactly, but if you wish to link out to Facebook from your user profile, or another appropriate page, it is quite fine for you to do so. Also if you would like to link from your Facebook profile to WiserEarth there is no reason why you should not. Hope that is helpful.
