Lessons Learnt from the process

Moving a group is risky. You lose momentum and have to wind it up again. Each of the following phases had a different culture and pattern. This project moved from the TT forums to a Ning group, to Wiser Earth. At each point, some people came, some dropped out, some new people appeared (e.g. Phil in WE).
But this was identified as a need from the TT forums: "- maybe this highlights our need for a dedicated project site which really doesn't need that much to get going just some basic tools."
Having a community of supporters is vital - moving from wishlist and random meetings into concerted effort brings challenges. as we go into the development phase, building a definite community for support/voluntary/paid work will be vital; the core of the web project should be this.
