Secondary Information Discussion
The purposes of this discussion are to develop the following to areas as follows from the NSF grant:
- Secondary information distribution: Secondary information is content and curricula that are considered "work in progress." This team will organize a confidential weblog structure and other mechanisms for distribution of lessons learned and reported by individual users of the Network. This team will also develop tools for the use of educators where confidentiality is required by users of curriculum.
- Secondary information
evaluation: A team will evaluate
the process by which the weblog and other mechanisms that are developed are
functioning.
Discussion participants need to consider how to achieve the above tasks in a variety of creative and mutually collaborative ways that will integrate well with the work of the other groups within the Open Science Network.
Items to be developed through action steps:
|
Action Steps What will be done? |
Responsibilities Who will do it? |
Timelines By when (Day/Month) |
Resources Resources available Resources needed (financial, human, political & other) |
Potential Barriers What individual or organizations might resist? How? |
Communication Plan Who is involved? What methods? How often? |
