1. Area of Interest and focus for Eco-April Film?:
Phil Gerson is interested in the impact of ECO-April events in transitioning people towards action. How can the event build on and add to the energies associated with the renewed sense of possibility associated with this year’s presidential election. Relationship of "Battle in Seattle" to Eco April in widening the circle of those actively engaged in creating a just world could be an interesting perspective.
2. What are you skills and what is the role would you like to assume in this production?
- I have some talents in narrative and storyline development and integration. In addition I could do some script writing where necessary
- I can capture interviews and perform rough edits using final cut pro software.
- I can develop the overall plan and keep us on point for the final production.
3. Brief Narrative in bullet points describing the ideas you want to bring life to and how you plan to proceed to capture
- Core group dialogue to understand the emergent forces for good in current environment
- Brainstorm ideas articulating the possible impacts that Eco April could have and possible outcomes to build “movement forming” relationships to bring good things to scale
- Interview each event organizer as to their hope for what might happen post Eco-April events.
- Prepare questions to be asked to people attending Eco-April events
- Capture interview attendees at the Eco April events capturing their thoughts for possibilities for the future.
- Convene Eco-April event coordinators and debrief to capture their ideas on how to proceed to collaborate in the future.
- Determine which post event activities should be understood.
4. What equipment and personal connections to people in the business do you have?
- I have a video camera, tripod, and Final Cut pro editing software.
