Ratings allow members to quickly and easily identify content that they feel is particularly relevant or interesting to the greater community.  Members can rate items on a 1 to 5 scale, and will be required to enter a comment to explain what it is that their rating is about.  All ratings are aggregated into a score near the top right corner of the page.

To rate an item, simply scroll down to the comment section of each page and enter a comment explaining your rating.  Then select the number of stars you desire to give, and click on Post Comment/Rating.  Then, if you want to see your rating reflected in the score at the top-right of the page, just refresh the page and you should see the changes.

How many times can I rate something?

You can rate an item over and over as many times as you like - but your rating will only count once.  This is to ensure the integrity of the ratings, so that no one person can manipulate the results by rating something over and over again.

Can I change my rating?

Yes, members are allowed to change their ratings at anytime.  To change your rating, simply post another comment and re-select the number of stars that you wish to give. As mentioned above, your rating will only count once. If you re-rate something, your previous rating is removed.
