Dear Friends,
It has just come to my attention that multiple entries on the website working group page, discussing concerns with the imminent website launch, have recently been removed entirely without explanation, discussion, or any type of response. I can only surmise this action has to do with critiques contained in these comments with respect to CGC communication & operations in recent months.
It seems to me that this erasure of open, earnest attempts to address functional problems affecting our common work is a serious violation of both trust and transparency. It's crucial that such an action as this be noted and addressed by the larger group of co-workers.
I would ask that those individual(s) responsible for the removal of contents reverse these actions, and permit the continuation of open discussion, exploration, and debate -- to which such individuals and all others who visit these pages are welcome to contribute!

While I am thoroughly confused, I have determined with the help of Pat McBroom (in San Francisco) that the computer I was using 3 hours ago was failing to display ANY of the comments on the Website Working Group page (except for my comment posted 3 hours before this one, which I have now flagged for review &/or removal).
I am greatly relieved, however, to find the important dialogue on that page remains intact ... it may not all be pretty, but it's pretty honest, and that will get us all a lot further in the long run than pretending we all agree ....
