In the absence of a Twitter stream from WiserEarth itself, a hashtag will enable WiserEarth members who are also posting on Twitter to identify each other.

Using Twitter or another microblogging service could also break WE out from the Web and on to the mobile phone via SMS, which might be a way of presenting WE information to the developing world, albeit in an abbreviated form.
