How about that this is built on an existing platform outside of WE but integrates with WE - that way we get a wider audience for the needs / wants - sort of cross posting across platforms. Seems like there are already lots of jobs sites, freelance sites, freecycling sites, and micro-funding sites ..... not sure WE would do it better than these specialized entities.

As we need to have more and more good people supporting each other financially/professionally in their good acts, we first need to help them discover each other. And I do sense that though more and more concerned people are mastering the skills to heal our world, they seem to be invincible to the mainstream society.

 

Having a good classifies of such skills/services being offered by people and organizations around the globe, would come in handy, for present or future needs, especially when the wider society wakes up to the need for them.

 

Coupled with an on-site financial transaction feature hinted in the following sentence written at the appendix of Blessed Unrest about WiserEarth, this job/service wanted/offered would be quite useful I imagine.

 

"Provides an instant and effective means for many people to give small amounts of money to organizations all over the world, thereby broadening the global philantrophic base"

Yes, in your case your look for a client.  Special project.  If you working as a freelancer, your not looking for a job, but for some work.  Artists are looking to sell something, usually their existing work.  Or the artist is looking for commission.  What might be considered is something that is a cross of want ads, for sale ads, or maybe an old fashion classified ads, but subject categories.  That way the subjects could be added as needed?
