SHARE YOUR PRACTICE
The attitude you bring is as important as what you do. For example you might try in your daily life to consciously move from the perspective of "I" to the perspective of "we", and try to put love into whatever you do.--from Karen
Before exercising, dedicate the merit of the work to the Whole. Hold this intention during periods of exertion and concentration. At the same time, hold an attitude of gratitude toward what has been received thus focusing both the mind and the heart:
'One monk, when asked what he had learned, replied with disarming humility: "Gratitude for the teaching of the enlightened ones, gratitude for the wonders of nature, gratitude for the charity of human beings, gratitude for the opportunity to practice—gratitude, not asceticism, is the principle of the [One-Thousand-Day Marathon]." ' -Mark

To start the day with a "day-greeting" to welcome the day, honor its sacredness, embrace its gifts, and offer gratitude for its blessings is a way to re-frame each day as another step on the spirit journey and to re-member ourselves within the Web of Life.
