Other visualizations mode (timeline...)

Now you can see the contents by name, by date, by map...

I think that a very important issue is historical review, and for example for events or news archive could be interesting implement a timeline visualization.

See an example in: http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/

Simile - Timeline is a opensource script very useful and could be implemented in wiserplatform.

There are many others (timeplot, exhibit) interesting to implement but before we need another kind of contents like indicators of sustainability and human development. Could be interesting develop an observatory app for the sustaintable and comunity governance.

For actual version of Wiser earth:

- Could be interesting for past events... Could be interesting relate events with news or temporaly groups created for example for a congress or similar...

For new versions of WiserEarth:

- Also could be interesting for news archive

- Archive of index and data (population, economic, Consume of resources, waste production, energy consume ...and other metrics with historical view.

- Also could be interesting to show special events (Chernovil disaster, 1st transgenic production, war of... ). Could also be interesting to relate with this events many personal experiencies record in video (for example)

Hey Aram, I'm also curious what you'd like to plot out.  It's definitely important track changes and have metrics to show trends, but I'm not sure what data within WiserEarth you would like to put on a timeline.  If you have some examples in mind, please let us know.

How would this be used? Is there some use scenario you can imagine for Wiserearth type users?
