New Discussion

Beginning a new discussion actually means that you will be creating a new article or a new WikiPage. On WiserEarth you can create as many new WikiPages as you would like in order to post, list, or to share information. Don't worry if you're not sure what to do for the first time - try following the instructions below. If you get stuck, you can always send a message to a Helper who will assist you.
Remember, you have to be logged in to edit or add to discussions.
Step One
In the name box, enter a distinct title for your discussion or question. (Keep a note of the title you have chosen since you'll be needing it in order to create a link back to this page later).
Step Two
In the text box area, describe your question or discussion to the community with as much clarity and background as necessary. Once you have completed this section, save your work by clicking
Step Three
You have one more important step to posting your discussion.
It is necessary to insert the link to your new WikiPage onto the main community discussion page so that others can access and join your discussion.
1. Keep a copy of the title of your new WikiPage.
2. Return to the Community Discussion Page and open the 'Edit' textbox.
3. Select an appropriate place on the page to insert your link. Click on Show tools/help and Add Links.
3. Select 'WikiPage'. To lookup your WikiPage, insert the title of your newly created page into the search box. Select Search.

Your internal link will automatically be adding to the discussion page.

If you would like to start a new discussion or ask a question click Begin a New Discussion, which will bring you to a blank WikiPage.Step One

Making a comment
Once you have chosen a discussion to read and you want to add a comment, simply press Add a comment at the bottom of the page and begin typing. It is best to address the person or comment that you are specifically referring. Submit your comment by clicking on .
