The dashboard page combines in one place a user's inbox, information about what their friends have done on the site, connections to people they may know and also new content on the site. It is meant to bring together all the useful parts of a person's profile onto one page. Translator note: literal translation for dashboard is "cruscotto", but it doesn't sound very good. Leaving it in english could be another option: the term dashboard is quite common nowadays (thanks to the Apple Dashboard found on Mac OSX) |
