The attached file was developed for consideration by members of the Network, and is also the text for a training workshop based on an adaptation of Permaculture’s customary concept of Zones for people who  live in the city of the Blue Mountains. It was inspired by Bart Anderson's adaptation of the zones and sectors to suit urban areas http://cwo.com/~bart/essays/z_s_urban.htm. A workshop was held on June 14 in Katoomba, as part of the move towards Transition Blue Mountains (see Events section).
