"About" edit section not working |

| Status: Unfortunately, this is one issue that the tech team has been working to resolve, and we're currently testing a new rollout that will hopefully address this issue. Until then, please make sure you are accessing WiserEarth either through Firefox or Internet Explorer, as some browsers like Safari do not support javascript popup dialog boxes. Also, most users have successfully pulled up the edit boxes by clearing their browser's cache, including cookies and browsing history. Here's how to do it: If you are using Internet Explorer 6+, 2. On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button and Delete Cookies. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache. 3. Click OK, and then click OK again. If you are using Firefox 2.0+, 2. Check all the boxes, from Browsing History down to Authenticated Sessions. 3. Click on "Clear Private Data" now. |

Searching for People | ||
| Issue: I am interested in finding out if someone I know is one of the persons in WiserEarth. Since "username" is not the same as "name" it seems the best way to find someone is to do a search on all the people. This brings up a list but it is not clear how that list is sorted. Malfunctioning links for Visualize Network | ||
| Issue: I am writing with a question about how the list in a portal cluster is supposed to work when you visualize a network. If there are more than 20 items (aof, orgs, event, etc) a "portal cluster" is made. If I select the cluster a list with links for each item is created. I would like to be able to use those links to click through to that items profile. Is it supposed to do this? I think it is trying to and fails. Am I mistaken? | jonramer michael | 4.13.07 |

Company name field | ||
| Issue: Add a company name field for new user profiles. Many users are creating profiles with their organization name as their handle, and then they use their About section to only talk about their company. I think this page is one of those unnecessary duplications and redundancies, which results in multiple entry point and multiple conversation space for a subject, resulting in sub-optimized discussions. Read my latest comment about this point in the:

My Edit box for my about section is not popping up at all. I'm not sure what to do or if I am doing something wrong.
