File LIbrary to include Thumbnail and Categories +3

Would be nice to add Thumbnails and Categories to the File Library to make it easier to search. See mock-up below.
Also ability to add a text, title for each photo

Agreed. I'd also add a "Source" text field for each image (at least).

I could imagine this being simply another global view of the file library of a group - the other would be user designated - i.e. by folder name relevant to the group members. As a user I would like to be able to search for content by type this way. To be able to toggle between the two.

Excellent Idea, +1 from me, can we add more than 1? if so I add +3 or 4, this would make the file library WAY more functional.
