Hi, I am farming and have been involved in food initatives in the area for a while, including growing food for Target Hunger. I heard about your meeting on the Permaculture Guild list serve. This looks like a great idea and from an angle I really support.
I think you need to make it more clear that this is a campus initative seeking community feedback, connections and participation rather than a regional initative. (A regional "Real Food Summit" would look quite different, I think) I have noticed some confusion amoung community members who have recieved your e-mail posts on this point, and only clarified it myself by reading your materials. Don't get me wrong, I think what you are doing is totally worthwhile, but made stronger by clarfiying this point?
