These events always come up as the most recent by date occurring on our "explore events" page, and seem out of scope, or too long. Please post suggestions for how to reorganize or remove them! Shorter events continue to be bumped to page three or four of upcoming events, and are hard to spot.

Also feel free to share some of your thoughts on the Ways to improve Events section wikipage.

[Bowo] This is actually a month long, day-by-day event. Looks like we have to leave it as is and figure out better ways to organize our "explore events" page. e.g. limit first view to events in a user's city or country. Any other suggestion?

[Bowo] This is a particular group's event with limited access privileges. But since the group it belongs to is 'semi-private' it gets publicly displayed in the directory. Points to the need to improve what we display in "explore events" page. I would leave as is until we have a technical fix. Any better ideas?

[Bowo] Listed end date is actually deadline for registration: Sept 4. Actual course starts on Oct 5. I would change the start and end date to Oct 5 ~ Nov 20. I wonder how other event listing sites are dealing with the display of month long events...
