Stewardship Partners, a PSCC beneficiary and local non-profit conservation organization, oversees a regional eco-label called Salmon-Safe. The label helps consumers identify local and organic farms that protect water quality, restore salmon habitat, implement environmental practices and preserve biodiversity.

The City is working hard on transforming how local food gets from the farm to your plate. On April 28th, the Seattle City Council passed the Local Food Action Initiative, which was crafted to help develop stronger ties between local agriculture and regional consumers and institutions.
