RED OR YELLOW OR GREEN BELL PEPPERS?

Edit this Page

I’m always surprised at peoples’ intrigue over green bell peppers turning red or yellow or orange in my gardens. I’ve not had a visitor who didn’t know that there was no such thing as a “red bell pepper plant.” Green bell peppers turn red when they mature. Fully matured, they have many times the vitamin content, especially vitamin A, that they do when picked green. Yellow and orange bell peppers are specific plants, but even they start off green and turn yellow as they mature. More about organic gardening tipsare also on our website. Write to me…I will give you gardening solutions.
