About The WiserEarth Content Standards or WCS are the parameters the community has drawn in order to identify more clearly the movement toward sustainability. These standards may be and are being argued and changed by the community. While browsing through the site you may see organization profiles that are flagged Out of Scope along with a reference to WCS.1, WCS.2, or other WCS. These are the standards which are not being followed by the organization and are deemed to be outside the work of a responsible future. You may read the WCS's by clicking the title, or by accessing them in the left search bar. If you wish to participate in the discussion you can reach that page through the Participate link or from the WCS page.
