Land stewardship is the practice of using and managing land to ensure that natural systems are maintained or enhanced for future generations. Land stewardship incorporates the principles of caring for natural systems as a whole, conserving resources, enhancing the stability of ecosystems, and instilling the cultural ethic of taking care of the land for long-term use and ecosystem stability.
