SAFE, Inc is an action-oriented, nonpartisan organization that aims to reduce America's dependence on oil, addressing business and technology, politics and advocacy, and public education and media.
SAFE is committed to development of three realistic alternatives to reduce vulnerability to oil price volatility and source disruptions. By decreasing demand, developing fuel alternatives, and increasing supply, SAFE believes implementing policies along these three guidelines will reduce America's oil dependence.
 The Relocalization Network supports Local Post Carbon Groups as they work to develop and implement the strategy of Relocalization in their communities. The Relocalization Network Coordinators support the Network by providing on-line communication tools, developing valuable resources, facilitating meaningful and useful connections between Local Groups and cultivating a sense of working together globally on local responses.

Yes we need a sustainable Energy sources and Model. In my humble opinion, we have gone astray and benefit a few with our current Fossil fuels, nuclear power and centralized Power Generation system.
I would like to share with all of you the following article, which proposes a new strategy for changing our current Energy Model. Even using Bio-fuels, although they are renewable, they still generate Green House Gases. The strategy in this article, is fair and equitable, much more than our current Energy Model, for people and nations.
