Food Supply

Food supply refers to the origin, method of production, distribution, and delivery of food to consumers, encompassing food safety, food hygiene, food production methods, security of the food supply, and the geographical scale and environmental impact of food production and delivery systems. Sustainable food supplies are priced fairly so that producers receive equitable profits and do not harm to the environment or human health.
