Corporate Ethics

Definition
Corporate ethics refers to the ethical and moral decisions that are faced in all business contexts. Corporate governance refers to the particular responsibilities and ethics related to running a business or corporation such as accountability to shareholders, transparency to improve credibility on environmental management, strategies to gain competitive advantage, environmental management guidelines, and financial management to avoid corruption and guide research and development. Many corporations sign respected, voluntary codes of conduct in order to set guiding ethics for operations.

"Now that it's all over, what did you really do yesterday that's worth mentioning?" ~Coleman Cox
