Ursids

Ursids

Ursids are omnivorous mammals in the family Ursidae, which includes eight species of bear including polar bears, black bears, brown bears, and pandas. Bears have been persecuted for killing humans (usually provoked), for their hide, meat, fat, and for ceremonies. All bears, except the American black bear, are threatened.
