Green Roofs
| Green roofs are created when the rooftops of buildings are designed or reengineered to be gardens planted with vegetation. Green roofs improve a building's thermal management by providing insulation in the colder months and by keeping the building cool in warmer months, with vegetation that produces oxygen, absorbs carbon dioxide, filters air pollution, provides wildlife habitat, and slows stormwater runoff by absorbing much of the rain that falls on the roof. | |

Does anyone know of a cost/benefit analysis spreadsheet for green roofs? I'm trying to learn the economics --> to see if there is a decent payback period for HVAC savings.
Thank you,
