Women's Safety from Violence

Med_bluegirls Violence against women refers to any act of gender-based violence that results in physical, sexual, or mental harm or suffering to women. Violence against women affects the health and human rights of women and includes trafficking, slavery, rape, abuse, domestic violence and harmful cultural practices and traditions that damage women's reproductive and sexual health. Women have the right to be safe from violence.
