Training for Nonprofits

Nonprofit training occurs on many levels: the board, the staff, the fieldworkers, the clients, even the donors. Training ranges from improving leadership skills, improving grant writing, capacity building, learning a host nation's language and culture, acquiring technical and mechanical skills for work in the field, practicing basic survival skills, learning communications and media skills, and the style of diplomacy needed in conflict resolution. A subculture of nonprofits offers the various training skills in workshops and consultancies.
